
Activity Leader.
We are looking for an energetic camp leader with excellent social skills, good attention to detail and a passion for children. Camp leaders must be comfortable managing large groups, interacting with young children and teens and be able to make decisions under pressure. Other responsibilities include delegating tasks, educating campers about health and safety, planning activities and improving the overall camp experience.
To succeed as a camp leader, you must demonstrate excellent stamina and leadership skills, as well as a positive and friendly attitude. The best candidates have a growth mindset, are team players, and possess excellent communication and deliberation skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Direct, supervise, motivate and involve students in activities and field trips.

Enthusiastically promote the program of activities.

Ensure proper preparation of activities in and out of camp.
-
Prepare, plan and guide students on field trips.
-
Maintain standards of discipline, safety and well-being of students.
-
Assist with general day-to-day tasks as directed by management.
-
To work in a way that promotes the safety and welfare of children and young people.
-
Assist in managing and maintaining the stock of activities, which will include lifting equipment.

Set a good example to campers and staff.
Activity Leader Requirements:

Be of legal age.

Experience in tutoring or supervising children.

Good judgment and a strong moral and ethical code.

Ability to perform in stressful situations.

Demonstrated leadership ability.

Teacher.
Teachers are at the forefront of developing students’ Life and Academic Skills through teaching, tuition and guidance during the English course.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.

Deliver engaging student-centred lessons that encourage students to actively participate
-
Maximise student and group leader satisfaction by ensuring their experience meets or exceeds their expectations.

Play an active role in the development of student’s life skills throughout their SLS Teach experience.
Specific duties include:

To manage the classroom appropriately

To lead activities and excursions if the center is not on a full day teaching program.

To ensure adequate preparation for all teaching and activity/excursion sessions

To monitor students’ proficiency and track students’ progress

To complete academic administration in a timely manner

To attend all relevant meetings, workshops and feedback sessions

To maintain proper levels of student discipline, safety and welfare

To carry out other duties necessary for the proper running of the center

To monitor student welfare and report any concerns immediately.
Education Required:

Valid ESL Certification
